Let Copilot do the work with Cowork

Cowork is for jobs that take more than one step: gather files, draft a deck, then summarize what changed. You describe the outcome. Copilot plans the work and pauses before actions that matter, such as sending or overwriting.

1. Open Copilot and choose Cowork, or describe a multi-step task from chat when Cowork is offered.
2. Say the outcome and the sources. “Build a three-slide update from these notes. Ask me before you share it.”
3. Review the plan. Remove any step you do not want.
4. When Copilot asks to continue, approve only the step in front of you. You can stop and edit the draft yourself.

If a step would send mail, change sharing, or replace a file, expect a check-in. Decline it if the plan looks wrong.
